Visiting The Tulip Festival in Skagit Valley

Hello all! Interrupting my Greece blog posts, I visited the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival. It’s a yearly event in April when duhhhhh the tulips are blooming. It’s so pretty and I had to visit after last year and I was not disappointed. If you want to see last year’s photos, check it out here.

Yeehawwww

I’m definitely not a southern girl, but cowgirl boots have been so trendy lately… and I conformed. I know I know… I’m a tri-hard. To be very honest though I did grow up in a small town and my boyfriend is from Texas. Does that count? No? I know it doesn’t.

These boots are so darn cute though and they’re from Steve Madden. They were on sale and I got them for $40! Unfortunately, the skirt I’m wearing is sold out (boooo), but I linked another one of their maxi skirts that are super cute.

Each Year Gets Better and Better

Last year when I attended the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival, it wasn’t as extensive as it was this year! The entrance and exit weren’t decorated as it was this year. It was truly a great experience and since we came right when they opened, we beat the crowd and skipped over the impending traffic. If you’re planning on going next year, be prepared that it’ll be around April and to come early or during the week.
