Best Places to Get Plants in Seattle & Online

Hello all! Long time no post… I’ve been so busy lately and honestly have been in a blogging funk. I really want to schedule out time to put towards my blog and my future YouTube channel. YES! I’m putting it out in the world that I will make a YouTube channel in the future. I, Cindi Pan, will make a YouTube channel focused on my fashion, travel and lifestyle… Yes, it’s there. I’ve said it. HOWEVER, this post isn’t about what I’m trying to do, but what I currently love. Plants. I know, very basic. BUT I DON’T CARE. Cause I’m in love with all my plants and want to convert people to plant-ism (not a real word lol). This post is great for people around the Seattle area but also you online shoppers. Enjoy!

If you want to read some more lifestyle/home blogs, I created this amazing and incredibly easy peg board with my boyfriend! It’s great for displaying all of your future plants you get. 😉

1. Retreat Interiors – Snohomish, WA

This is THE place for beginners. I’ve never been to such a great plant shop that really wanted you to keep your plants alive (lol). The owner is darling and she explained every plant and how much I should water them. I’ve honestly gotten to be a pro from her. She also answers any question, even if you think they’re stupid. If you want a great lesson and know how to take care of your plant, this is the place.

Besides the great customer service, they have a great selection of indoor and outdoor plants. They have all the trendy one’s and also amazing rare plants that you won’t find at your local garden store. This place is also so beautiful and it makes you feel like you’re in a whimsical plant house!

This place is definitely a trek, but if you’re looking to get high quality plants and a lot of it, this is the place. There’s also a beautiful historic downtown area with tons of antique and clothing shops. It’s a great place to go out during the weekend!

Location: 1118 1st St, Snohomish, WA 98290

2. Plant Shop – Seattle, WA

I would say this is also a very high quality plant shop! They have so many in abundance and I also found that there were a ton of rare plants that you wouldn’t normally find.

Again, same as Retreat, it’s very beautiful inside! I’ve found so many cute gems and I’ve trekked it from the Eastside to Seattle just to go to this shop. They also have a few other different shops such as Homestead, but has curated vintage rugs and furniture. I’ve purchased a rug and besides looking amazing, my cats love laying on it!

Location: 2202 E Olive St and 411 E Pine St. Seattle, WA

3. The Sill – Online

When I moved into my brand new home, not only did I hit up all the shops on this list, but also scoped out online. Buying plants online through these trendy websites felt weird. I always love going in and buying the perfect plant and checking for imperfections. However, The Sill exceeded my expectations. Every plant that I purchased was perfect and well kept. It comes in great packaging and is well-watered to withstand the shipping time.

4. Molbaks – Woodinville, WA

Molbaks is more of your traditional idea of a plant shop. It takes on the same feel as Home Depot but is definitely more of a family store. They have a wide variety of plants in stock and if you’re looking for more outdoor plants then this is the place for you.

Location: 13625 NE 175th St. Woodinville, WA 98072

5. Indoor Sun Shoppe – Fremont, Seattle

My friend and I stubbled upon this plant shop after hitting up the Fremont Sunday Market. It was so beautiful and a lot of the plants were very affordable! With the rise of popularity of plants, the prices have skyrocketed. This is one of the few places that had more affordable options… There are still some that are a teensy expensive.

6. GlassWing Greenhouse

I haven’t personally bought any plants at this shop, but I’ve definitely visited! They have amazing options and their store front is beautiful. I didn’t buy any plants because I’m already loaded with a ton to take care of! This place however had a ton of variety and is very atheistically pleasing.

I hope you all enjoyed this blog post. A lot of these places also ship! So check out their website and just because you don’t live in Seattle doesn’t mean you can’t grab these up! 🙂
