Hello all! I’ve been recently been prepping for my Italy trip but decided to take a spontaneous day trip to Canada. Specifically, we went around the Richmond and Vancouver area. I brought two outfits so stay tuned for the second post that I will be putting up. This first post will feature the niche Granville Island. It’s under the Granville Bridge and is very close to Vancouver, BC. I decided to take on the town in a trendy midi dress.
Still wanting some trendy summer outfit looks? Check out my blog posts where I went to a fair! It features a beautiful fire red off-the-shoulder top and a cute two-piece set.
Granville Island
Granville Island is so beautiful and has a very niche vibe. This place has a cute small town look while being very close to Vancouver, BC. The island has a boastful waterfront view and you can take water taxi’s to the island. There are tons of little stores, restaurants, and colorful art and walls. I got so many cute photos here and would definitely recommend going towards the waterfront as they have a Pike’s Place-esque market!
Living for Midi-Dresses
I’ve been seeing so many midi and maxi dresses lately. Brands have been sprucing up this look by adding slits, up and down cuts, etc. This midi dress features a slit and button detail. This is one of Urban Outfitters top rated items and comes in a variety of colors. I wore an XS and I would say the fit is true to size. The shoes I’m wearing are so comfortable. I never had to break them in and they were instantly comfortable. We walked a ton (around 16,000 steps according to my fitbit) and I was still holding up!
