Hi all, this weekend my boyfriend and I went to the Volunteer Park Conservatory in Seattle. It’s a greenhouse that is placed in the middle of Volunteer Park (duh). It’s super beautiful and I wanted to share a few photos. Just to note, they do not allow fashion photography at all during their public hours. I was lucky enough that there weren’t people there. So I didn’t feel like I was in the way. I also feature this amazing fanny pack that I got from Free People and have gotten so many compliments on it! Fanny Packs are truly making a comeback and I’m all for it!
It’s a Prickly Place Indeed
Inside of the greenhouse there are about four separate areas. They all have different types of flowers/plants. You do have to pay to get in which is around $4. As I said, they seem strict about the no photography aspect, but I went when no one was really there so was able to take a few photos. I still wanted to respect the establishment though and kept it to a minimum.
Just a Ray of Sunshine… Or Yellow Really
Yellow has seriously been the color of the season. It’s come back with full-force! I wore this beautiful airy yellow off-the-shoulder dress from Frankie Phoenix. They’re an online clothing store that I love! They have a lot of basics but also stock some really cute items as well.
I loved the macrame fanny pack (or belt bag) that I paired with it from Free People. It’s been my all time favorite and I have been rocking it everywhere. It’s so convenient to wear because I can hold my essentials and it’s such a cute accessory. Fanny packs are back in style and I’ve already styled another one from Forever21 in some previous blog posts when I visited Greece!
